Sync Not Working? Try These Steps

If your entries are not syncing between devices, do not worry — your data is safe. Here are a few steps to get things working again.

Step 1: Check Your Internet Connection

UNA needs an active internet connection to sync. Open Safari and try loading a website. If that does not work, your connection may be the issue.

Step 2: Force Close and Reopen UNA

Swipe up from the bottom of your screen (or double-press the Home button) to see your open apps. Swipe UNA upward to close it completely. Then open UNA again.

Step 3: Check Your iOS Version

Go to Settings > General > Software Update on your device. UNA requires iOS 18.0 or later. If you are on an older version, updating may resolve sync issues.

Step 4: Sign Out and Sign Back In

In UNA, go to Settings > About You and sign out. Wait a moment, then sign back in with your email. This refreshes your connection to the server.

Step 5: Check UNA Sync Status

Go to Settings > Mission Control in UNA. This screen shows the current sync status, any pending uploads, and recent sync activity. If you see errors here, they may point to the issue.

What About Sacred Entries?

Your Sacred entries (Temple, Blessings, Revelations) are stored only on your device and never sync to any server. This is by design — it is called the Sacred Wall. If you are looking for Sacred entries on another device, they will only be on the device where you created them.
