What Data Syncs to the Cloud


I believe in being transparent about exactly what happens with your data. Here is a clear breakdown of what syncs and what stays on your device.

Data That Syncs to the Cloud

When you have an active subscription and cloud sync enabled, the following data syncs securely to your encrypted cloud storage:

  • Today entries — Your daily spiritual reflections
  • Together memories — Family memories and Memory Echoes
  • Tomorrow messages — Legacy messages for your loved ones

All synced data is encrypted in transit using TLS and encrypted at rest on the server.

Data That NEVER Leaves Your Device

  • Temple experiences
  • Priesthood blessings
  • Personal revelations
  • Any content stored in the Sacred Vault

This is enforced by the Sacred Wall — an architectural guarantee, not just a setting. Sacred data cannot sync even if someone tried to force it.

You Are in Control

You can manage your sync preferences in Settings > Privacy. You choose what syncs. You can disable cloud sync entirely and use UNA in a fully offline, local-only mode. Your data, your choice.
