Deleting Your Account and Data

I respect your decision if you choose to leave. Here is exactly what happens when you delete your account, so there are no surprises.

How to Delete Your Account

  1. Open UNA and go to Settings
  2. Tap About You
  3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account
  4. Confirm your decision

What Gets Deleted

  • Your account — email, profile, and authentication credentials
  • Synced entries — all daily entries, Memory Echoes, and Heartfelt Messages stored on the server
  • Subscription — your subscription will be canceled (you may also need to cancel in iOS Settings to stop billing)

What Stays on Your Device

  • Sacred entries — Temple visits, Blessings, and Revelations are stored only on your device. They are never on any server, so they remain on your device unless you delete the app.
  • Local data — Until you uninstall UNA, local copies of your entries remain on that device.

Important Notes

  • Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Once confirmed, your data cannot be recovered.
  • If you have a Family Plan, deleting your account does not affect other family members. Their data remains untouched.
  • Please cancel your subscription in iOS Settings > Subscriptions to stop future charges. Deleting your UNA account alone may not stop Apple billing.

Data Export

Before deleting your account, you can export your data from Settings > Import and Export. This creates a backup file you can keep for your records.
